Matthew founded Primarily Rye in 2006 after years of freelancing and world travel, opening Primarily Rye's new office in Historic Downtown Franklin, in 2007. His specialty in conceptual problem solving, branding, identity design and creative strategy is why Matthew leads Ideation for Primarily Rye. His vision to create a multidisciplinary and equal ownership company (based outside the usual suspects of New York and the West Coast) has increased the creative capital of this region and produced a growing and consistently profitable company. Passion, Insight and Expertise are his core values when approaching client work, which has gained him industry recognition and many happy clients.

Title: Principal | Account Executive
Courtenay is what you would call a real people person. Her contagious out-going nature was a driving force behind her decision to join the Navy after graduating from Ole Miss in 2000. She knew that by becoming a naval officer, she could use her outgoing personality and people skills to be a good leader and make a difference in people's lives. The Navy also honed her organizational and logistical skills for a perfect fit in the world of business. As Account Executive for Primarily Rye, Courtenay works closely with clients to ensure their voice is established throughout the creative process and that clients receive the kind of customer service that builds strong relationships.
TIDBIT: Courtenay was once highly in demand as a personal trainer, the
most sought after in her market...a fact that makes Matthew a
little worried about any literal application to the phrase "Running
